Established in 1987, Rural Health Care, Inc. operates nine community based health centers throughout Central South Dakota and Southwest Minnesota. With strategically located health centers, RHCI welcomes new and established patients alike and strives to meet the needs of the communities it serves including those areas or individuals that are under served. Operating as Federally Qualified Health Centers, RHCI also offers a sliding scale fee program for those who financially qualify.  True to our organizations mission of “assuring access to quality health care”, RHCI stands ready to meet your primary care needs.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). 

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
